1. Stretch the following cvc (consonant/vowel/consonant) words out on your arm. (Students should tap their shoulder when they say the beginning sound, their elbow when they say the middle sound, and their wrist when they say the ending sound. Then they should put their hand back up at the top of their shoulder and slide down their arm, blending the sounds back together as they go.)
