1. Show me your book baggie. (Please read the important papers inside of here explaining this new procedure for your child.)
2. Tell me about the "eggs"periment you started today during multi-age. (We are learning about the importance of brushing our teeth in the morning and at night before we go to bed. We talked about different drinks and made predictions about what we think they do to our teeth if we drink them and don't brush our teeth before bed. We are using hard boiled eggs to represent our teeth and we placed them in cups, each with a different liquid: sports drink, soda, milk, apple juice, and water. We made predictions about what will happen to the eggs as they sit in these liquids for the next two days. On Wednesday, during multi-age time, we will check the eggs and see what has happened to them. We will also be brushing the egg with a toothbrush to see if it helps get it clean at all.)
