1. Show me your ticket voucher to the Timber Rattler game. Our school's family day is on April 27th @1:05. All students also earned a free ticket and a voucher for a hot dog/soda. Please know that if you would like to take your child to this game, you will need to purchase an additional ticket for yourself and any other family members that would like to go.  Tickets need to be purchased at least one week ahead of time. Our classroom reading goal was to read independently each day for 10-15 minutes during reading workshop. Every child should be proud of themselves...they all worked very hard and reached their goal! :)

2. Tell me about your time at Russell Manor this afternoon. (See photos below.)

(We taught the reisdents how to make origami hearts and sang some of our poetry songs for them.)

** We are in need a few supplies for our classroom. If you are able to donate any of the following items, we would greatly appreciate it! :)

1. Show me your new popcorn words. (all, with, there)

2. Read to me at least one of your new books from your book baggie.

3. What are some ways you can help plastic garbage from harming animals/our planet?

Mrs. Linda DeCramer from the Ripon Public Library came today to help us kick off Earth Day. She shared with us about ways we can help keep plastic garbage out of landfills and from harming animals. (There is a note in your child's backpack about a plastic challenge we are starting at school as well.)
